Dr. Laura Cañez Olvera

Dr. Laura Cañez Olvera has a wealth of experience, starting as a Strategic Planning Manager at Coca-Cola FEMSA in 2007. Dr. Laura then moved on to become the Best Practices Transfer Manager and eventually worked as a Consultant in 2012. From 2016 to 2020, Dr. Cañez Olvera held various leadership roles at Elementia, including Strategic Planning and M&A Director and Chief Operating Officer. Currently, they are serving as the Senior Strategic Project Director at Orbia, leading a global procurement transformation project and overseeing ERM and Improvement Strategic Projects.

Dr. Laura Cañez Olvera has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana. Dr. Laura then pursued a Diploma in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Universidad Anáhuac. Later, they completed a Master's degree in Engineering Business Management at the University of Warwick - WMG before obtaining their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Technology Management from the University of Cambridge.
