Adam Mancilla has diverse work experience in the field of multimedia and design. Adam began their career as a Freelance Graphic Designer for Archetype Illustration & Design in 1999, where they designed various promotional materials and provided consultation on graphic and web publishing programs.
In 2006, Adam worked as a Graphic Designer for Roche Diagnostics, where they collaborated with Adecco Technical to design and layout labeling materials for diabetes devices.
During the same period, they also worked as a Web Designer for StreetWise Promotions, LLC, where they designed promotional web and print graphics and conducted photo shoots for e-commerce merchandise.
From 2009 to 2010, Adam served as a Design and Interactive Media Specialist for Medical Animatics, LLC, utilizing innovative technology to create graphic design, illustration, and animation for print, web, and interactive media.
Adam then transitioned to the role of Instructional Learning Resources Technology Specialist at Harrison College from 2010 to 2013. In this position, they contributed to the creation and revision of courses, developed interactive learning objects, and provided support for curriculum within a learning management system.
Finally, from 2013 to the present, Adam has been working as a Multimedia & Systems Developer at Orbis Education. In this role, they collaborate with instructional designers, faculty members, and product development staff to conceptualize, build, and deploy interactive learning objects and systems that support online courses, academic programs, and company operations. Adam combines aesthetics and technology to enhance instructional media and researches current trends to improve existing media elements.
Adam Mancilla began their education at Kendall College of Art and Design in 1992, although it is unclear if they completed a degree or specific field of study. From 1993-1997, they attended Cornerstone University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Religion/Religious Studies.
