Amita R. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Amita started their career as a Technical Recruiter at Bluewolf from June 2005 to June 2006, where they independently managed recruiting processes for multiple IT openings. Amita then became a Recruiting Manager at Bluewolf from June 2006 to July 2007, during which they developed a new full-time placement division, increased permanent placements, and implemented recruiting processes for the entire team.
From September 2009 to August 2011, Amita worked as an Outreach Coordinator at Raksha, Inc, where they directed efforts to recruit and onboard volunteers and interns, quadrupled youth volunteer engagements, and assessed applicants' KSAs and fit within the organization.
Amita then joined Georgia State University as a Graduate Assistant from August 2011 to May 2013, assisting two full-time professors with research on organizational change and leadership development practices.
Amita's next role was at Orbis International, where they held several positions. Amita started as a Recruiting Manager from September 2014 to February 2015, followed by a role as a Talent Manager from February 2015 to December 2015. Amita then became a Senior Manager, Talent Management from January 2016 to December 2017. From January 2018 to January 2021, they served as an Associate Director, Talent Management, and was promoted to Acting Global HR Director from January 2020 to November 2020. Their most recent role at Orbis International is the Director of Talent Management, starting in January 2021 to the present.
Amita R. graduated from Townsend Harris High School and obtained a High School degree. Amita later attended Wellesley College and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree, majoring in Economics and English. Currently, Amita is pursuing a Master's Degree at Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business, with a dual concentration in HR Management and Leadership & Organizational Change.
