Samson Tesfaye is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in program management and research, particularly focused on eye health and public health emergencies. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager at Orbis International since July 2013, Samson leads eye health program developments in Ethiopia and supports national initiatives in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. Prior roles include Senior Research Advisor at the Ethiopian Public Health Association, where Samson contributed to national strategies on marginalized populations, and positions with the World Health Organization and regional health bureaus, emphasizing surveillance, immunization, and emergency public health management. Samson holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Addis Ababa University.
