Rachel Sartaj

Rachel Sartaj, PhD, currently serves as Associate Clinical Development Director at Gyroscope Therapeutics since January 2020, having previously held the position of Clinical Development Scientist. Prior roles include Lead Medical Writer at Virgo Health, Medical Copywriter at Sudler & Hennessey, and Associate Medical Writer at Chameleon Communications International. Rachel Sartaj's earlier experience includes serving as Senior Research Specialist in Health Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago, focusing on novel biomarkers of corneal epithelial stem cells, and postdoctoral roles at Weill Cornell Medicine and Odontis Ltd - Kings College London. Rachel Sartaj completed a PhD in Biological Sciences with a focus on Stem Cell Biology and Tissue Engineering at King's College London and holds a BSc (Hons) in Genetics/Microbiology from Queen Mary University of London.
