R. Samuel Boorse is a seasoned professional in synthetic chemistry and technology development, currently serving as VP of Synthetic Chemistry at Orbital Materials since July 2023 and as Founder and President of Emerging Innovative Technologies, which focuses on consulting for startup companies in the Hard Tech sector. Previous roles include Global Director R&D at Zeochem, where oversight of R&D activities and expenditures supported an $80M/year business, and Senior Project Leader at Rive Technology, encompassing responsibilities in analytical testing and IP strategy. R. Samuel Boorse has extensive experience in catalyst research and development, with prior positions at BASF Catalysts and Precision Combustion, Inc., managing catalyst and coating development programs. R. Samuel Boorse holds a PhD in Chemistry from Cornell University and a BS/BA in Chemistry and Philosophy from Gordon College.
