Miguel Valero

Miguel Valero is the Founder and Managing Director of Space Strategies LLC, a role held since September 2000 after the rebranding from Détente Group LLC. Additionally, Miguel Valero serves as a Board Member at Sidus Space since December 2021 and was the Managing Partner and Founder of Détente Group LLC until September 2022. Previous experience includes Corporate Strategy at Lockheed Martin from 1997 to 2000 and Director of Strategy and Business Development for Spaceway at Hughes Space and Communications from 1996 to 1997. Miguel Valero also held the position of Vice President of Business Development at Compression Labs from 1994 to 1996. Miguel Valero earned an MSC in Telecommunications and Finance from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BSEE in Telecommunications from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
