Kevin Brodie

Kevin Brodie is a seasoned professional in machine learning and engineering, currently serving as the Director of Machine Learning at Orbital Sidekick since April 2021. In this role, Kevin manages ML scientists, develops models and roadmaps, and designs machine learning infrastructure, demonstrating leadership in guiding teams toward success. Prior experience includes roles as Lead ML/Data Scientist and Research Engineer at Northrop Grumman, where Kevin developed algorithms to improve system performance. Kevin's career began with a focus on applying complex analyses and algorithm development at SAZE Technologies and earlier at Northrop Grumman Corporation. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics, and a cum laude Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Maryland.
