John Karlström has extensive work experience in the field of intellectual property. John started their career in 2002 as a process engineer at Karlshamns AB. In 2004, they joined AWA Holding as a patent attorney, and later took on roles as Team Manager, Head of AWA Innovation, and Head of Sales. In 2018, they founded two companies, aliveIP and Skin in the Game IP, where they served as CEO & Founder. In the same year, they also became the Vice President of Intellectual Property at Orbital Systems. Finally, in 2019, they joined STORP Technologies as an Intellectual Property Manager.
John Karlström completed their education at Lund University. John obtained a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, attending from 1997 to 2002. Continuing their educational journey, John pursued an Executive MBA with a focus on Economics at Lund University from 2008 to 2010.
