Connor Smith

Connor Smith has a diverse work experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Connor started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at NCSU, where they conducted experiments in Dr. Flickinger's Lab. Connor then worked as a Student Help Desk Worker at NCSU ITECS, where they provided technical support and customer service.

After that, Connor joined Pfizer as a Tech Ops 03, gaining experience in operations. Connor then moved on to Asklepios BioPharmaceutical, Inc. (AskBio) as a Senior Associate Scientist, working on downstream process development and rAAV vector manufacturing. Connor also collaborated with fellow scientists and upper management to improve process performance and conducted various research and development activities.

Connor later joined ElevateBio as a Senior Associate Scientist, focusing on analytical development and biochemistry. Connor played a key role in identifying and installing biochemistry equipment for the lab build-out. Connor also worked as an Associate Scientist II, contributing to downstream process development.

Recently, Connor joined Ring Therapeutics as a Senior Engineer, Downstream PD, where they worked on downstream process development. Connor also held the role of Scientist II, Process Development at Orbital Therapeutics.
