Jack Jinqi Ren

Jack Jinqi Ren is a seasoned professional in the field of gene therapy and protein production, currently serving as Associate Director of Downstream Process Development for AAV Gene Therapy at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. since April 2022. With extensive experience spanning various roles, previous positions include Manager of the AAV Vector Core at StrideBio, Inc., and Scientist in Process and Analytical Development at KXTbio Inc. Ren's background includes significant contributions to protein purification and characterization during postdoctoral research at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Pennsylvania. Ren holds a Ph.D. in Cell Biology from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Beijing Normal University, with ongoing education at Boston University.
