Lead Scientist - Upstream Process Development at Orbsen Therapeutics

Paul Loftus has a strong background in scientific research and development. Paul began their career as a Process Scientist at Orbsen Therapeutics Limited in January 2013, where they focused on data capture, analysis, and presentation. Paul then transitioned to a role as a PHD Researcher in March 2015, where they conducted in-depth research. In October 2018, they became a Staff Scientist at Orbsen Therapeutics Limited, before eventually taking on the position of Lead Scientist - Upstream Process Development in June 2019. Alongside their roles at Orbsen Therapeutics Limited, Paul also worked as a Research Associate at NUI Galway from October 2012 to January 2013.

Paul Loftus attended the University of Galway, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biotechnology from 2006 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Masters by Research degree in Regenerative Medicine at the same institution from 2011 to 2012. Paul Loftus furthered their education at the University of Galway by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Oncology and Cancer Biology from 2015 to 2018.
