Shahar Oliver

Shahar Oliver has a diverse work experience in various software engineering roles. Shahar is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Orca Security since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at BigID from January 2021 to May 2023 as a Principal Software Engineer, where they were responsible for migrating core services and implementing backend services using Java, Python, and NodeJS. Shahar also designed and implemented platforms for developing new integrations into BigID's core products. Before that, Shahar worked at Check Point Software Technologies as a Technical Lead from April 2018 to January 2021 and as a Software Engineer from April 2015 to March 2018. During their time at Check Point, they worked on various projects related to threat prevention, developing restful services and big data solutions using Java, Spring frameworks, Hadoop, and Kafka. Shahar also has experience working as a Software Engineer at Wix.com from February 2013 to March 2015 and in the Israel Defense Forces as a Software Engineer from 2007 to 2010, where they developed projects focused on software integration with networking hardware.

Shahar Oliver attended Tel Aviv University from 2011 to 2015, where they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in programming and TypeScript from LinkedIn in 2022.
