Jorge Sevillano

Jorge Sevillano co-founded and served as the CEO of Orca starting in January 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Navico from February 2018 to January 2020, where they held the position of Head of Mobile. At Navico, they led an international team in creating a successful mobile business for Navico's marine ecosystem. Before Navico, Jorge worked at HERE Technologies from August 2016 to January 2018. Jorge held the role of Head of Product, Growth, and Monetization, where they led a team in expanding HERE WeGo's user base and establishing profitable partnerships. Additionally, they were responsible for developing HERE's strategy in the AdTech industry. Before joining HERE Technologies, Jorge worked at Nokia from August 2013 to January 2016, where they held various roles, including Business Operations Manager and Quality Process Manager. Prior to Nokia, they worked at Líneas y Cables, S.A. as an R+D Engineer from April 2008 to March 2009, and at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid as a Research Scholarship holder from September 2005 to December 2007. Jorge also worked as a Private Tutor from June 2004 to August 2005.

Jorge Sevillano completed their MSc in Electronic Engineering with a specialization in Telecommunications at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid between 2002 and 2008. Following that, they pursued their M.Econ in Economics at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. from 2008 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, they also hold a certification in Pragmatic Marketing at Level V (PMC-V) from Pragmatic Marketing, although the specific month and year of obtaining the certification are not provided.
