Jose O Giraldo

Jose O Giraldo is a skilled Machine Learning Engineer currently working at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center since May 2023, while also serving as a Google Summer of Code student at Orcasound since June 2021. From October 2015 to May 2023, Jose contributed to AAC Acústica+Lumínica in research and development, focusing on the design of low-cost systems and signal processing, as well as environmental noise monitoring. Additionally, Jose was involved in data collection, processing, and modeling of environmental noise. Jose volunteered as a data scientist with Rainforest Connection (RFCx) from March 2020 to August 2020. Academic achievements include a Master's degree in Acoustics from Universidad de Cádiz and a degree in Sound Engineering from Universidad de San Buenaventura.
