Helen Cox

Helen Cox has a diverse range of work experience. Most recently, they worked at Orchard as an Operations Manager starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Support Associate from March 2022 to August 2022 and Sales Coordinator from July 2021 to March 2022.

Before their time at Orchard, Helen worked at Part 2 After School as a Communications Coordinator from September 2020 to June 2021. Their responsibilities included managing student enrollment, coordinating schedule changes, assisting with bookkeeping tasks, and responding to inquiries from families.

Helen also gained experience at The University of Vermont Health Network as a Patient Access Specialist from December 2020 to April 2021.

From August 2019 to August 2020, Helen served as the Director of Part 2 After School and Summer Camp. In this role, they oversaw program management, staff development, and collaborations, providing a safe and nurturing environment for approximately 60 children daily.

Helen has also worked as an Assistant Preschool Teacher at Richmond Elementary School from September 2018 to June 2019. Helen engaged with students, performed various activities, and even developed classroom curricula during their three-month tenure as a substitute lead teacher.

Earlier in their career, Helen held positions as a Counselor at Part 2 After School and Summer Camp from July 2018 to June 2019, a Teaching Assistant at CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange from September 2017 to June 2018, and a Summer Intern at Senator Bernie Sanders' office from May 2017 to August 2017.

During their time at St. Lawrence University, Helen gained experience as a Peer Advisor from August 2016 to May 2017, a Student Office Assistant from January 2014 to December 2016, and a Peer Tutor from August 2014 to May 2015.

Lastly, Helen interned at Real Jardín Botanico de Madrid, where they worked in communications and event planning, utilizing their Spanish language skills from January 2016 to April 2016.

Helen Cox received their Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Psychology, with a minor in Spanish, from St. Lawrence University. Helen attended this institution from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, in 2015 and 2016, Helen spent a year studying abroad at Colegio Mayor Isabel de España, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this period.
