David Francoeur

Director, Product at Orchestry

David Francoeur has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their current position as Director, Product Delivery at Orchestry. In this role, they are responsible for developing a long-term feature roadmap and guiding the successful delivery and support of the product. David also supports sales and marketing activities by sharing industry expertise.

Prior to their current role, David worked at 2toLead as the Practice Lead, Digital Workplace. Here, they stayed informed about industry trends and platform capabilities to tailor recommendations for clients. David also crafted patterns and practices to improve the consulting team's effectiveness.

Before that, David gained experience at Bonzai Intranet as a Solution Architect and SharePoint & Office365 Specialist. In these roles, they provided technical expertise to support sales efforts, offered guidance for product roadmap development, and acted as the primary point of contact for implementation partners.

David also worked at AltaLink as a SharePoint Specialist, where they contributed to operational needs and supported user inquiries. David provided technical expertise, analysis, and development for capital projects involving SharePoint.

Additionally, David has held positions at Agrium, Agriculture Financial Services Corporation (AFSC), and the Canadian Forces. At AFSC, they served as a Project Manager and SharePoint Analyst, leading complex projects and championing SharePoint across the organization. David also worked as a French Tutor, Bilingual Document Editor in the Canadian Forces, and Website Developer under a private contract.

David began their career at Queen's University as a Teaching Assistant, where they assisted professors with undergraduate courses and managed course content websites.

David Francoeur completed their Bachelor's degree in History at Queen's University from 2004 to 2008. David then furthered their education by pursuing a Master's degree in History at the same university from 2009 to 2011. In 2007 to 2008, David also had the opportunity to study abroad at Fudan University for a semester, where they focused on History and Globalization.
