Kal Chana

Kal Chana is a Senior Forensic Scientist and Scientific Lead for Gunshot Residue (GSR) Services at Orchid Cellmark, where responsibilities include the implementation of methods for recovery, analysis, and reporting of GSR, along with casework management within a Case, Assessment, Interpretation framework since November 2011. Prior to this role, Kal served as the Head of Gunshot Residue and Senior Reporting Manager at Key Forensic Services Ltd, and as the Head of Gunshot Residue and Lead Forensic Scientist at LGC Forensics, focusing on GSR as well as Glass and Footwear casework. Kal's forensic career began at the Forensic Science Service, providing a strong foundation in various forensic disciplines. Kal holds degrees in Chemistry from Sandwell College.
