Sasen Efrem

Sasen Efrem is currently a Scientist I at Ordaos Bio since October 2023. Prior to this, Sasen served as Team Lead at Melonfrost from October 2021 to November 2023, managing a team of engineers and overseeing hardware development projects. Sasen held several positions at Vital Bio from December 2019 to October 2021, including Senior Scientist and Scientist I, where responsibilities included flow cytometry, assay automation programming, and next-generation assay development. Additionally, Sasen conducted a research-based master’s thesis on Alzheimer's disease at McGill University from September 2017 to August 2019, and has experience as a Teaching Assistant and Lab Technician in various academic settings. Sasen's early career included research internships at Black Lion Hospital in Ethiopia, Ornge, and BASF, focusing on antibiotic stewardship, event categorization methodologies, and the development of paint formulas, respectively. Sasen holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology from McGill University.
