Renata Benavente

Renata Benavente currently holds the position of Chefe de Divisão de Intervenção na Saúde at Câmara Municipal de Almada since April 2024 and serves as an Associate Professor at ULHT since April 2019, where responsibilities include teaching various subjects related to forensic psychology. Renata has extensive experience as a Forensic Psychologist at the National Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences since July 2011 and as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at multiple institutions, including ULS Almada-Seixal and ACES Almada Seixal. Additionally, Renata's involvement includes serving as Vice-Presidente and member of the Direção Nacional at Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses since 2010. Renata’s educational background features a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Lisbon and a Postgraduate Degree in Sexual and Reproductive Health from the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal.
