Geoff Rich

Geoff Rich has worked in the software engineering industry since 2017. Geoff began their career as a Software Engineering Intern at Alaska Airlines in 2017, then moved into the role of Software Engineer at the same company in 2018. In this role, they modernized the guest flight refund process by replacing the monolithic codebase with a standalone microservice and microsite, and led the implementation of a new microsite in Svelte that allowed guests to self-serve flight changes after a canceled flight. Geoff also built microservices in C# and Go to support the new microsite. In 2022, Geoff moved to Ordergroove, where they currently work as a Senior Software Engineer.

Geoff Rich attended Whitworth University from 2014 to 2018, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics.
