Nick Groome has extensive experience in geographic information systems and research management, currently serving as an External Research Manager at Ordnance Survey since 1999. Previous roles at Ordnance Survey include Assistant to Director General and Chief Executive, Digital National Framework Project Manager, and GIS Consultant. Prior to joining Ordnance Survey, Nick Groome worked as a Consultant at Kampsax International and Rural Training Consultants Ltd, and as a Researcher at the Centre for Environment and Business in Scotland. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Geographic Information Science from UCL, a Master's Degree in Forest Management from the University of Aberdeen, and a Bachelor's Degree in Rural Environment Studies from Wye College, University of London.
