Ray Murphy

Ray Murphy is an experienced professional in the fields of archaeology and geospatial data collection. Currently serving as a Field Surveyor and Geospatial Data Collector at Ordnance Survey since April 2023, Ray has previously held key positions such as Supervisor and CAD Technician at Pre-Construct Archaeology Limited from April 2015 to April 2023, and CAD/Graphics Technician at TVAS (Ireland) Ltd. from January 2013 to March 2015. Earlier experience includes work as an Archaeologist (Site Supervisor) and Field Archaeologist at Irish Archaeological Consultancy Ltd between 2001 and 2012, and a role as a Tour Guide/Information Officer at The Office of Public Works in 2001. Ray holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Cultural Resource Studies from Dundalk Institute of Technology, a National Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from Limerick Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Dundalk Institute of Technology.
