Simon Barnum

Simon Barnum is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in military and public service roles. As a Military Intelligence Officer in the Army National Guard from May 2021 to September 2023, Simon analyzed intelligence and developed reports to enhance targeting operations. In the same period, Simon also served as a Motor Transport Operator, facilitating logistical support through operation of military vehicles. Currently, Simon works as a Junior GIS Specialist for the Town of Norwell's Department of Public Works, utilizing ArcGIS to improve infrastructure management. Simon's journey began at Norwich University, where a Bachelor's degree in Computer Security and Information Assurance was earned in December 2023, and will continue with a Master's degree in Cybersecurity expected by July 2026. Additional experiences include roles as an Army Cadet in Army ROTC and a Lifeguard Supervisor with YMCA of the USA.
