Sam Garner

Sam Garner, CISSP, GCIH, currently serves as an Information Security Analyst at PeaceHealth since February 2025 and as an IT Security Technician at Oregon Child Development Coalition since September 2023. Garner previously held multiple roles focused on IT security and support, including Information Technology Security Administrator at Oregon Child Development Coalition and IT Site Coordinator at Coherent Inc., where responsibilities included user support and endpoint management. Garner's experience also includes a Network Support Specialist role at Oregonians Credit Union, where emphasis was placed on securing the Windows environment and managing vulnerabilities, as well as earlier positions in service desk and technical support. Garner holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Oregon State University.
