MacKenzie Aime

Mackenzie Aime is a skilled community organizer with extensive experience in food justice and sustainable agriculture initiatives. Currently serving as a Statewide Community Organizer at Oregon Food Bank since July 2022, Mackenzie previously worked as an Organizer for Food & Water Watch, advocating for rural communities and family farms. Mackenzie's commitment to addressing hunger and poverty was further demonstrated during the tenure as a Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellow at the Congressional Hunger Center. Additional experience includes roles as a Nanny, temporary Programs Coordinator at Wholesome Wave Georgia, and Development Intern at Georgia Organics. Mackenzie's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Minor in Anthropology from Emory University, where engagement in the Sustainable Food Committee and leadership as President of TEDxEmory reflected a strong dedication to sustainable food systems and community engagement.
