Mary Dakin

Mary Dakin currently serves as Workforce Development Manager at the Oregon Health Care Association, focusing on initiatives to enhance the long-term care workforce. In addition, Mary is a part-time faculty member in Political Science at Portland Community College and manages the PACTEC program for the Portland Area CTE Consortium. Previous roles include consulting for Bosch Management Systems Network and Bosch USA, where Mary administered research programs, and serving as Associate Director at the Stanford Institute for Creativity and the Arts. Additional experience includes positions at Stanford University, where Mary held multiple leadership roles in the Center for Russian, East European & Eurasia and the Office of the Dean of Humanities and Sciences. Mary has also taught Political Science courses at various institutions. Educational credentials include a PhD and MA in Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington and a BA in Economics from Lewis & Clark College.
