Ahmed M. Raslan

Ahmed M. Raslan is a distinguished medical professional serving as Interim Chair and Chief of the Division of Functional Neurosurgery at Oregon Health & Science University since July 2015. In addition to holding multiple roles including Professor in Neurological Surgery and Director of Epilepsy and Brain Mapping, Ahmed Raslan also serves as the Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs and Neuroscience Quality Medical Director. Ahmed Raslan is slated to become the President-Elect of the North American Neuromodulation Society in January 2024. Previous academic experience includes a Lectureship in Neurological Surgery at Ain Shams University from August 2002 to October 2004. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Neurological Surgery from Ain Shams University, fellowships in Functional Neurosurgery and Neurosurgery, and an Executive Education program in Healthcare from Harvard Business School. Ahmed Raslan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
