Eric Orwoll

Eric Orwoll has extensive work experience in the medical field. Eric began their career in 1979 as an Attending Physician at Portland VA Medical Center and OHSU. At OHSU, they held various roles including Director of the Oregon Clinical & Translational Research Institute, Assoc Dean for Clinical Sciences in the School of Medicine, and OHSU Associate VP of Research. Eric was also a Professor of Medicine during their time at OHSU. Eric has a strong background in clinical research and played a significant role in advancing medical knowledge and practice.

Eric Orwoll earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Zoology from the University of Michigan in 1970. Eric then obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine from 1970 to 1974. Following that, they completed a Medical Residency Program at Providence Medical Center from 1974 to 1977. Finally, they engaged in a Research Fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Oregon Health & Science University from 1977 to 1979.
