Justine Nguyen

Justine Nguyen is a Bioinformatics PhD Candidate and Research Assistant II at Oregon Health & Science University since November 2018, working in the Pruneda Lab on the interplay between bacteria, viruses, and the host ubiquitin system during infections. Justine previously completed an internship at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, focusing on machine learning applications to predict bacterial effectors. Prior roles include research positions at Oregon Health & Science University and the University of Oregon, where Justine contributed to projects on RNA-editing techniques and VEGF signaling in heart development. Justine holds a PhD and MS in Bioinformatics and Computational Biomedicine from Oregon Health & Science University and a BS in Human Physiology with minors in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Oregon.
