Robert Eil is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Cell, Developmental, & Cancer Biology at Oregon Health & Science University since August 2020. Prior to this role, Robert completed a Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from August 2018 to August 2020. Robert's clinical training includes positions as a Senior Surgery Resident at Oregon Health and Science University from July 2016 to June 2018, a Surgical Oncology Research Fellow at the National Cancer Institute from July 2013 to July 2016, and both a Surgical Junior Resident and Surgical Intern at Oregon Health and Science University from June 2010 to June 2013. Robert Eil earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 2006 and 2010 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Tulane University, which was completed from 2001 to 2005.
