Steve Krautscheid

Steve Krautscheid has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Steve started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Iowa, where they focused on researching healthcare topics with a rural healthcare focus. Steve then moved on to the Benefis Health System, where they held various leadership positions, including Director of Clinical Services and Director of Guest Services, overseeing departments such as Pharmacy, Laboratory, and Quality Improvement.

After their time at Benefis Health System, Krautscheid worked as a Healthcare Administrator at Mountain Vista Rehabilitation Center, where they improved facility relationships and redesigned staffing patterns. Steve then joined Tuality Healthcare, where they held multiple roles, including Employment Coordinator and Director of Facilities and Properties. In these positions, they were responsible for sourcing and hiring employees, as well as overseeing departments such as Facilities & Properties and Food & Nutrition Services.

Most recently, Krautscheid served as the Vice President of Real Estate & Property Development at the Oregon Health & Science University - Hillsboro Medical Center. In this role, they were a member of the Executive Leadership Team and was responsible for strategic projects and overseeing long-term facility site plans.
