Timothy Liem

Timothy Liem, MD MBA, is a distinguished Professor of Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) since July 2005, where additional roles include Co-Director for Quality at the Knight Cardiovascular Institute, Vice-Chairman for Quality, and Program Director of the OHSU Vascular Surgery Residency. Liem is also the Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Qview Health, Inc., established in June 2015, which focuses on improving healthcare quality through discussions on medical errors and patient outcomes. Prior experience includes serving as Attending Vascular Surgeon at Legacy Health Systems and as Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Missouri. Liem holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from OHSU and an MD from the University of Southern California, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from UC San Diego.
