Daniel Dietz

Daniel Dietz is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Senior Analyst for the Oregon Legislature, focusing on the Senate Committee on Health Care and the Joint Task Force on Universal Health Care since September 2021. Previously, Daniel held roles as a Student Advocate at Oregon State University and as a Staff Attorney for the Family Defense Team at the Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem. Daniel's legal experience includes a position as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Maryann L. Nergaard in New Jersey, as well as multiple internships at various legal organizations, including the Legal Aid Society and the Office of the Attorney General of New York. Daniel earned a Juris Doctor from the City University of New York School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in International Politics & Economics and Spanish from Middlebury College. Additionally, Daniel volunteered with the Peace Corps in Peru, achieving fluency in both written and spoken Spanish.
