Mia Ferm

Mia Ferm is a seasoned media archivist and curator with extensive experience in film and media preservation. Currently serving as a media archivist at OPB since August 2023, Mia also co-directs Cinema Project in Portland, a non-profit organization dedicated to avant-garde cinema. Previous roles include project manager for the historic media collection at Seattle Art Museum, video archive intern at Oregon Historical Society, and education program manager at Northwest Film Center. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Preservation and Presentation of the Moving Image from the University of Amsterdam, a Master's in Cinema Studies from New York University, and a Bachelor's in Film Theory, History, & Production from UC San Diego.
