Michelle McCoy

Michelle McCoy is a seasoned philanthropy professional with extensive experience in donor relations and strategic giving. Currently serving as a Senior Philanthropy Advisor at OPB since November 2016, Michelle collaborates with individuals, families, and foundations to facilitate impactful philanthropic decisions, while also engaging with OPB's Board of Directors to solicit major gifts. Prior to this role, Michelle spent five years at Monterey Bay Aquarium, focusing on planned giving and donor services, where achievements included securing substantial legacy gifts and establishing partnerships with estate planning professionals. Michelle's career began as a Guest Ambassador and progressed through various roles in membership and donor services, showcasing a strong commitment to donor engagement and community outreach. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from Florida State University, complemented by studies in French language and culture in France.
