Nikita Desai

Nikita Desai is a seasoned professional in philanthropy and international development with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as a Senior Philanthropy Advisor at Robin Hood since February 2025, Nikita previously held the position of Associate Director for East Coast Philanthropy at The Asia Foundation, where efforts focused on cultivating a network of philanthropists supporting Women's Empowerment and Gender Equality Programs in Asia. Additional roles include Director of Policy & Corporate Programs at The Korea Society, where event curation and panel moderation on policy topics were key responsibilities, as well as Technical Advisor at the World Bank Group, evaluating grant proposals for social accountability programs. Nikita began a career at Asia Society as a Senior Program Officer, conducting research for Global Policy Initiatives. Educational credentials include an International Master of Business Administration from IE Business School and a Master of International Policy Studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
