Dave King

Dave King is a Professor Emeritus at Oregon State University, where a distinguished career spanned 41 years in higher education, culminating in retirement. Currently engaged in limited consulting within the sector, Dave King previously served as Special Assistant to the Provost for Innovation, focusing on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship within the university. Additional roles include Associate Provost for University Outreach and Engagement, as well as Department Head for Extension and Experiment Station Communications at Oregon State University. Dave King held the position of Executive Director at IHETS and was Department Head for the Agricultural Communication Service at Purdue University. A Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies was earned from California State University, Chico, followed by a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oregon.
