Matthew Bersano

Matthew Bersano is an accomplished soccer coach and professional athlete with extensive experience in the sport. Currently serving as the Assistant Soccer Coach at Oregon State University since March 2025, Matthew oversees goalkeeping and domestic recruiting efforts. With a notable professional playing career, Matthew has been part of multiple teams, including the San Jose Earthquakes and Austin FC, while representing players as a Major League Soccer Player Rep from 2018 to 2024. Additionally, Matthew has worked as a private trainer through CoachUp and has been involved with West Coast Goalkeeping since 2016. Matthew holds a Master of Business Administration in Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire University, and a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from Oregon State University.
