Ariel Owens-Barham

Ariel Owens-Barham currently serves as an Administrative Specialist at the Oregon Zoo since October 2022. Previous experience includes roles as Administrative Services Manager and Executive Assistant to the President & COO at 2K from December 2013 to June 2019. At Lucasfilm from November 2009 to December 2013, Ariel supported high-level executives and coordinated efforts that contributed to a significant staffing increase. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Human Resources Analyst for the City of Oakland, where responsibilities involved developing assessments for city vacancies, and a Human Resources Assistant at State Farm Insurance Companies, providing full-cycle recruiting support. Ariel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Miami and an Associate in Arts in Anthropology from Miami Dade College.
