Kayla Pierce

Kayla Pierce is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Counselor at Portland Parks & Recreation since June 2022, where Kayla provides free lunches and facilitates arts, crafts, summer games, and sports for children in the community. Additionally, since October 2021, Kayla has worked as a Campus Ambassador at Clark Atlanta University, assisting the undergraduate admissions office by giving campus tours to international first-time college-bound first-year and transfer students. Since April 2018, Kayla has held the role of Conservation Educator at the Oregon Zoo, where education about the outdoors and various animals is provided to children through interactive programs. Kayla is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work at Clark Atlanta University, expected to graduate in May 2025, and is a graduate of Jefferson High School in Portland, Oregon.
