Adi Polak

Adi Polak has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. In 2012, they worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at Deutsche Telekom Innovation Labs. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Akamai Technologies, where they focused on service architecture design and mentored other developers. In 2016, Adi was an Alumni at BIPA (Bavaria Israel Partnership Accelerator), leading a team to develop a solution for a Data and IoT Challenge. At Microsoft, they held multiple roles from 2018 to 2021, including Director of Cloud Scale Analytics in Developer Relations and Senior OS Software Engineer. Adi also worked as an Author and Instructor at O'Reilly Media in 2020. Adi joined Forbes Technology Council as an Official Member in 2022. Since 2021, they have been serving as the VP of DevEx at Treeverse, where they have grown the Developer Experience department and contributed to the growth of the lakeFS open-source community. Additionally, in 2023, they became a Product Advisory Council member at Kensu.

Adi Polak completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Software and Information System Engineering, with a specialization in Machine Learning program, from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. This educational achievement took place between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, Adi Polak earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Software and Information System Engineering, also specializing in the Machine Learning program, from the same university. This undergraduate degree was obtained from 2010 to 2014.

In addition to Adi Polak's academic qualifications, they have acquired various certifications throughout their career. These certifications include "Prevent Toxic Work Cultures as a Manager" and "Tips to Win Arguments and Influence Like a Lawyer" from LinkedIn in January 2023. Adi Polak also received a certification as a Speaker at the KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America 2021 event, organized by The Linux Foundation in October 2021. Furthermore, they obtained certifications in "Leading at a Distance," "Cloud Architecture: Advanced Concepts," and "Communicating Across Cultures" from LinkedIn in 2021. Adi Polak's earliest certification, "Guy Kawasaki on Entrepreneurship," was earned from LinkedIn in June 2020.
