Edward Kim M.D.

Edward Kim, MD, MBA, has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Currently, they serve as the Chief Medical Officer at Orexo AB publ since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Biohaven from 2020 to 2022, where they held the positions of Vice President, Medical Strategy and Vice President, Head of Medical Affairs. Before that, they worked at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson as Therapeutic Area Leader and Clinical Leader in Medical Affairs. Edward also worked at Rutgers University as a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry from 1998 to 2016. Additionally, they held positions at Novartis, Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey, Jefferson School of Population Health, Eisai, Brain Injury Association of New Jersey, and Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Edward Kim, MD, MBA completed their undergraduate studies at Harvard University, where they received an AB degree in Biology. Following their undergraduate education, they attended Thomas Jefferson University, where they earned their MD degree. Continuing their academic pursuits, they enrolled at the Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst, where they obtained an MBA with a focus on Healthcare Management. Edward Kim later furthered their medical training by becoming a resident in Psychiatry at Jefferson Health.
