Shivam Shekhawat

Shivam Shekhawat is a Junior Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation since September 2022 and also serves as a Freelance Contributing Writer for the Economist Intelligence Unit. Previously, Shivam worked as a Research Analyst at London Politica and as a Research Intern at the Observer Research Foundation, where the focus was on India's neighbourhood dynamics, particularly regarding Afghanistan and Pakistan. Additional experience includes an internship at the Ministry of External Affairs, where papers on Southeast Asia were written, and participation as a Policy in Action Fellow with Young Leaders for Active Citizenship, contributing to discussions on electoral reforms. Shivam's academic background includes a Master's degree in the History of International Relations from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree in History from Lady Shri Ram College for Women.
