Antonis Markoulis

Antonis Markoulis has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Antonis began their career in 2013 as an Aide de Camps Assistant and Weather Spotter at the Hellenic Air Force. In 2014, they worked as a Computational Methods Developer at edasys. From 2015 to 2018, Antonis held positions as a Software Developer and Senior Software Developer at Fieldscale. Antonis then joined ENCODE in 2018 and took on roles such as Software Developer, Software Development Team Lead, and Lead Python Developer, where they were involved in architectural decisions and development of microservices. Antonis worked as a freelancer from 2006 to 2017, tutoring in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Currently, they are a Staff Software Engineer at Orfium, where they previously held the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Antonis Markoulis first pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), from 2004 to 2010. Antonis then continued their education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Computational Physics, studying from 2010 to 2012.
