Maria Gkiolia

Maria Gkiolia has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Maria is currently working as a Business Intelligence Analyst at Orfium since September 2021. Prior to that, Maria worked at Amazon as a Business Analyst from September 2020 to September 2021, and as a Local Transportation and Supply Chain Analyst (Intern) from February 2020 to August 2020. Maria also interned as a Process Improvement Intern at The Kraft Heinz Company from March 2019 to August 2019. Maria has previous experience at PwC, where they worked as a Consultant | Operations & Strategy from July 2018 to December 2018 and as an Audit Associate from November 2017 to July 2018. Maria completed their Master Thesis at KLEEMANN SA from January 2016 to September 2016. Maria also worked as an Administrator at Maisonette Chalkidiki from May 2015 to September 2016, and as a Mechanical Engineer at European Thermodynamics from December 2013 to January 2014.

Maria Gkiolia completed their education at two different universities. From 2012 to 2017, they attended Democritus University of Thrace and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) and Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering and Management. Then, from 2016 to 2020, Maria completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Production Engineering and Management at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained the Certificate of Proficiency C2 (ECPE) from the University of Michigan in May 2015 and the Sorbonne B1 certificate from the Institute de Français in May 2009.
