Panos D. has a diverse work experience in the software testing field. Panos started their career in 2016 at Beat, where they worked as a Software Tester. During their time there, they focused on payment third party integrations and Invoicing systems. Panos wrote and executed automated tests using Cucumber and Gherkin language. Panos also performed verification, compatibility, deployment, and regression testing.

In 2017, Panos took on the role of QA Tester at Beat, where they planned and designed test suites, executed test cases, and reported defects. Panos also conducted exploratory testing using heuristics and mind mapping.

Panos then joined Viva Wallet in 2020 as a Software Engineer In Test. Panos contributed to the maintenance and creation of test automation frameworks for API, UI, and Mobile Testing. Additionally, they built and maintained tooling for test development and implemented Continuous Integration pipelines.

Currently, Panos is working at Orfium as a Software Engineer In Test, starting in 2021.

Panos D. earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, which they attended from 2008 to 2014. During their studies, they participated in the Erasmus program and studied Economics at the Universidad de Cádiz for the academic year 2012 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Panos has obtained various certifications. Most recently, in 2022, they completed the following certifications: Test Automation in DevOps, API Testing in Python, Setting a Foundation for Successful Test Automation, and Scaling Tests with Docker from TestAutomationU. In 2021, they completed certifications in API Test Automation with Postman, Continuous Integration with Jenkins, Selenium WebDriver with Python, Behavior Driven Python with pytest-bdd, Introduction to pytest, Python Programming, and Automating your API tests with REST Assured from TestAutomationU. Panos also completed certifications in HTML and Java from SoloLearn.

Before that, in 2020, Panos completed certifications in Java Programming and Cucumber with Java from TestAutomationU, and Java Tutorial from SoloLearn. In 2019, they obtained a certification in SQL Fundamentals from SoloLearn. Panos also holds two certifications from the ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board): Certified Tester Foundation Level Extension, Agile Tester obtained in 2018, and Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) obtained in 2018.
