Steve Woo

Steve Woo is an accomplished writer, director, and producer with extensive experience in the film and visual effects industries. Currently serving as the Head of Studio at The Embassy and a Producer at Organic Media Group since November 2022, Steve previously held significant roles at 1718 Studio Ltd as Executive Producer, Director, and Producer from January 2007 to March 2023. Highlights of Steve's career include working as a VFX Producer on Aquaman 2 at Scanline VFX and as Vice President and Head of Studio China at Digital Domain, where leadership encompassed the creation of high-level VFX for varied media projects. Additionally, Steve has contributed to academia as a visiting professor and held managerial positions at DiverseCity Theatre and Double Edge Entertainment. Educational credentials include a BFA in Film Art from Syracuse University.
