Faamoana Laufiso

Security Officer - Office Of Confidentiality And Security at OPCW

Faamoana Laufiso has extensive experience in security and law enforcement, currently serving as a Security Officer in the Office of Confidentiality and Security at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) since February 2019. Prior to this role, Faamoana worked as a Security Corporal at ICTY/MICT from March 2006 to February 2019 and as a Police Officer with the Samoa Police Service from February 1993 to February 2006. Faamoana's international experience includes serving in the International Police Service with UNMIL between April 2004 and December 2005. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Terrorism Studies from the University of St Andrews obtained in 2011 and a Diploma in Criminal Law from the University of the South Pacific earned in 1999, along with foundational education at Samoa College from 1987 to 1991.
