Paul Blundell

President at Organix

Paul Blundell is the current president of Organix. Paul previously worked as a postdoc at Schering Plough from September 1991 to May 1993. Paul's research involved synthesis and activity of novel azole antifungal agents. The research resulted in two publications (Bioorg. Med. Chem. 2002, 12, 1739 and Synlett 1994, 263) and a presentation at an ACS Med. Chem. Conference (1993, Utah).

Paul Blundell was educated at the Fitzharrys School, Elgin Academy and Queens School Rheindahlen, West Germany before studying Chemistry at the University of Stirling where they were awarded a first class BSc(Hons) degree. Paul then undertook doctoral studies in Organic Chemistry at Texas A&M University, USA, under the supervision of Professor Leroy G. Wade, and was awarded a PhD in 1980.
